Denmark...
Copenhagen was just fairy tale-esque. The architecture, the colors, the
food...everything was great! And the castles in the outskirts were
oh-so-beautiful!
Here are my journals from Denmark...
This is the place to go to for
'Smorrebrod' (Danish open-faced
sandwiches).

hands-down the best pastry shop we
went to while in Copenhagen. My
favorites were the W.C. Hat and the
Sportskage.
To go along with the fairy tale theme
of Copenhagen, one of the main sights
to see is The Little Mermaid.
This is Kronborg...it's also known as
'Hamlet's Castle'. It is in Helsingor,
Denmark.
This is Frederiksborg Castle in
Hillerod, Denmark. It was just
beautiful! It also had baroque gardens,
a little lake, etc.
Nyhavn is a great place to grab a drink
or some dinner. It's pictured in all of
the guide books...and when you see it,
you know why.
